First I will start off by telling you about my mom. I consider my mom to my best friend. My mom and I are probably closer than most mothers and daughters because I do not hide any secrets from my mom. Everything from school, friends and boyfriend issues I know I can tell to my mom without worrying about any judgment. We have always been close but it seems that over the past few years we have become the closest we have ever been.

My dad and I have had our differences over the years but I know I can always count on him if I need anything. Everyone says we fight a lot because we are actually so much alike and we butt heads because of it. I have yet to see the similarities in our personalities but I‘ll keep looking. My dad was the one who coached me in sports throughout the years so without him, I probably wouldn’t have been into sports as much as I am now.

Even though you might not be able to tell from the picture, my brother is younger than me. He is 18 and a senior in high school. When we were younger, my brother and I fought all the time. However, for about four years now we have become very close. We can pretty much tell each other anything.
These two beautiful people are my grandparents. I have always been close to my grandparents ( they are my dads parents). For as long as I can remember, they have been a big part of my life. I can remember when my brother and I were young, we would get so excited to go stay at my Gram and Paps house, even though they only lived ten minutes away. When I was in junior high, my grandparents started building a house right next to my house. I was excited for them to move in because then I knew I could visit them anytime I wanted to.
My pap was one of the best men I know I will ever meet. His first priority was always his family and he especially favored his grandchildren. My family and I counted on my Pap for many things, because we knew he would always be there for us. He used to pick my brother and I up from school when we were young and my mother could not (and always took us to McDonalds), and whenever I needed a ride anywhere my Pap was there. I never thought my family would be able to function through a holiday without my pap. He home-cooked everything himself and it was always amazing. However, my Pap passed away last June from complications with cancer treatments that led him to have heart failure. We found out in February 2008 that he had lung cancer and went through various treatments. He was trying a new clinical trial for the cancer and we found out too late that the doctors had over-treated him for it and it caused him to have a few heat attacks within days of each other. Even though we were aware of my Paps cancer for months, we were not aware that we would be saying good-bye on June 22, 2008. My Paps death was the hardest thing I have ever had to go through in my life. He was the stone of our family and seemed to keep us all together. My Paps death has definitely made me a stronger person but there will always be something missing at family dinners, holidays, and special occasions that can never be replaced.
My boyfriend, Ryan, is the best man I could ever ask for in a boyfriend. As I mentioned on my about me page, we will be dating for two years in May, and the two years with him have been the best two years of my life. We met through mutual friends about a year and a half before we started dating, and I hate to say it but we were reunited through MySpace! I can count on him for anything and know he will always be there for me.
My Friends
Amber has truly been my best friend since kindergarten. We were inseparable in elementary school and it followed through into junior high. We had a few rough patches at the beginning of high school but from junior year on, we have been close as ever. She is really the only friend I know I can count on to trust with anything and the first one I go to with gossip, or to complain about someone to. We are alike in several ways, yet different in others. She and I know that even if we go some time without talking to another, whenever we do finally see each other, it will be like nothing ever changed. It is safe to say that she will definitely be the maid of honor at my wedding!
Here are some random pictures of me with friends and my boyfriend.
