Introduction to My Associations:
I belong to a tri-level association, with a national, state, and local level. This association is for all legal professionals who want to increase their knowledge and proficiency in the legal field. Continuing legal education (CLE) is heavily emphasized and members obtain CLE at all meetings. Once you have obtained a certification, there are mandatory CLE requirements to recertify. For example, to recertify your PP Certification, you must obtain 75 hours of CLE within a five-year period.
Note the three associations with their logos immediately below:
NALS -- This is the National Level.
AALS -- This is the State Level.
BLSA -- This is the Local (Birmingham) Level.
